Our Story

We believe sarees are one of the most stylish and expressive garments a woman can own.
Yet somewhere along the way, they became tied to rules. Rules about when to wear them, where to wear them, and what occasions they were meant for.
Cardamom was born from the belief that sarees deserve a place wherever women choose to wear them. Morning coffees. Long lunches. Road trips. Birthdays. First dates. Lazy Sundays. Or simply because you feel like it.
Because the occasion isn't what makes a saree special.
The woman wearing it does.

Behind Every Saree

Every saree has a lot behind it. The weaver who made it. The hands that picked it. And eventually, yours.
We handpick every piece from unique regions in India - hoping to bring them just a little closer to you.
Some of what we carry is handwoven - made by people who have been doing this their whole lives, in places where the loom is just part of the house. We work with them directly.
But finding the saree is only half of it. Every woman who comes to us is a little different - different taste, different body, different idea of what she wants to feel like. We just want to make sure she leaves with the right one. Hers.
